The Tru-Luv Rabbitry Sale Policies:
To reflect & practice the principles of being a reputable & ethical breeder, below is a list of detailed policies for those interested in acquiring TLR’s rabbit(s). Effective from 13 February 2009, these are TLR’s sales policies:
- All breeding at Tru-Luv Rabbitry are planned. Please inquire the moment you see photos of kits posted on the blog.
- TLR only offers ENTIRE rabbit(s) for breeding purposes to trusted individuals.
- TLR is a closed rabbitry. We do not provide stud services or obtain stud services. This is to ensure no diseases/parasites contamination in the rabbitry.
- TLR only offers both neutered Show Quality and Pet Quality rabbits for sale. All rabbits are priced based on quality evaluated against ARBA Standard of Perfection. Quality should never be based on color preferences, age or size. Altered rabbits are not showable.
- Buyers are required to pay an upfront NON-REFUNDABLE booking fee of RM200 to facilitate in the neutering procedure. The balances from the agreed upon price and cost of neutering must be reimbursed upon collection of rabbit(s).
- The buyer must agree not to breed the rabbit(s) if allowed to be collected earlier (after 8 weeks) AND must agree to send the rabbit(s) purchased for neutering. Again, all costs of neutering must be borne by the buyer on top of the agreed upon price.
- All TLR rabbits come with a two weeks health guarantee which covers hereditary and genetic problems with proof from a practicing veterinarian. If proven to be a hereditary or genetic health problem, only the agreed upon price will be refunded. Cost of neutering or any other medical cost shall be borne by buyer.
- All TLR rabbits come with a 3 generations PEDIGREE.
- The buyer must not resell or rehome rabbit(s) purchased. In any circumstances, the rabbit(s) must be returned to TLR at ZERO COST.
- Should anything happen to the rabbit between booking, prior to neuter and collection, TLR will replace it with another rabbit of the same value/cost. The cost of neutering is still borne by buyer.
- Should anything happen to the rabbit DURING the neuter procedure, TLR will replace it with another neutered rabbit of the same value/cost. TLR will borne the neuter cost of the replacing rabbit (buyer only pay castrate/spay cost once).
- All spaying/castrating must be done at vets of TLR’s choice.
- No request for refund will be entertained if the rabbit suffers injury/death due to mistreatment, abuse and negligence on the buyer’s part.
- No refund will be given if the rabbit contracts any disease caused directly or indirectly by lack of knowledge on proper handling and care.
- Our rabbits are kept indoors and fed with a strict fresh vegetables/hay/pellet diet with occasional treats and fruits. We expect buyers to treat their rabbit(s) the same.
- TLR reserve the rights to revoke an agreement of sale at any point of time in its sole and absolute discretion, without the need to provide reasons for such revocation. Booking fee will be refunded.
- Spaying and Castrating can only be done at or after 6 months.
- Terms and conditions may change without prior notice if you are not an existing buyer.
