Taylor: A good role model for all children with PETS

I was going through my usual favorite rabbit blogs and read about TLL’s visit by the local press peeps. They were covering the story for Taylor’s passion for her rabbits.

As I went through the article and also photographs, I thought to myself that if I wanted a role model for my daughter, it would be TAYLOR. She is such a lovely young lady and the love for her pets truly shows in every one of those photographs taken.

I started keeping animals as pets at the tender age of 5 (I cannot remember exactly when). My first pet was a dog – a mixed Spitz to be exact. It was a family dog and I did not do much of care taking (my parents took care of the feeding and bathing). Since then I always have pets in my life.

I definitely want my daughter to have this passion for pets. I hope she would love rabbits and to be exact Hollands just like her father. I am sure she will because she has taken quite an interest in the pets around the house. She is only 8 months old, so I could only justify that by her reaction upon seeing the animals. LOL…

Nonetheless, I hope this article stays there forever so that in another few years I could show this to my daughter and tell her that across the globe, there is a young lady who raises pet rabbits too!

Thanks for dropping by and commenting. I would love to come over to US one day to witness the Nationals perhaps but it would take years. It would definitely be an honor to meet all of the great breeders like yourself in person. We do not have rabbit shows in Malaysia but I just love Holland Lops.

Keep up the great work you are doing. It is great to see a young person like you having a clear goal ahead. Wishing you all the best in your pursuit to be a Veterinarian. That was my dream when I was young too. But I ended up in the same field as your dad.
