Traditionally, Chinese New Year is also a time to usher in the Spring Festival. Somehow it gives meaning to the term Spring Cleaning. We are not allowed to clean (by sweeping) the house on the first day of Chinese New Year as most believe that would mean sweeping all the good luck away. So just before we usher in the New Year, I have decided to “Spring Clean” the rabbitry by replacing all the litter trays.
How I wish I can just replace the trays each time I clean the rabbitry because that will save me a lot of work scraping and cleaning each litter tray. Unfortunately, I do not print money like the “Choy San Yeh” aka god of prosperity.
But for now, it is HO! HO! HO! HO YEAH! in the rabbitry!
Huat Ah!
