Farewell Skor, You’re Always My Boy

My last chance to trance Skor...

With the heaviest of heart, I bid farewell to my favorite boy Skor. He shall begin his life as a very pampered pet Holland Lop with his new owner. Like any other goodbyes, the only consolation for me is that my boy Skor is promised a good home.

Good teeth

I am very grateful that his new owner has contacted me and shown much interest. I count my lucky stars each time someone approaches me for my rabbits and it clicks right away. There are many things we feel with our 5 senses but there are certain things that we sense with our heart – SINCERITY & HONESTY.

Clean vent

His 4 digit tattoo

Skor has done his bit in providing us a few of his offspring that has brighten up a few homes with their antics and unconditional love.

My only wish is that, he will live his life to the fullest and enjoy every single day hence forth!

Go make me proud Skor boy!

Another one to miss...

Update: Tru-Luv Camior

I just received an email from Alicia with some very interesting photos of her garden pets. She wanted to show me how Camior was doing. Camior was a very low profile kit but I must say she has grown to be a very beautiful young lady. I especially like her crown. She lives in the garden together with Monty the Netherland Dwarf.

According to Alicia, Camior is a very sweet doe despite being intact.

Little Miss Muffet Adopted!

I am suppose to write this post yesterday. Due to the many happenings that took up all my time, I only have the time to do it right now. The decision was made more than a month ago. The inspiration behind the decision was firstly based on how the “Chestnut” family is extremely good rabbit owners. Secondly, we all felt that Truffles needed a good companion now that he’s neutered.

So off Muffet went to stay in her forever home with the Chestnut family. I am extremely happy that they love her very much and especially happy that we have full visitation access to both Truffles and Muffet.

Truffles’ New Home

First of all, I must say that Bugsy is a VERY VERY nice little bunny! This little Siamese Sable (I think ND x Polish) is absolutely beautiful and his color is so amazing! Bugsy belongs to Shahfiq & Adesh (absolutely perfect couple). My parents say they move together – a match made in heaven indeed. LOL!

Shahfiq & Adesh are the proud owners of Tru-Luv Truffles. I am so thrilled to announce that they are photography enthusiasts as well. Just take a look at this photo they took and the amazing setup they have for both Truffles and Bugsy. The things we do for our bunnies – OMG!

Fit for kings!

Farewell TLR’s 1st BRIS, TRU-LUV Truffles

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this post. At the same time I am very excited for Truffles’ new owners. This couple has been contacting me for quite some time and I felt that it would be nice for them to have Truffles since I do not have many bunnies available at the moment. I am very glad that the lovely couple inquired and I must say that with great confidence, I am very happy to be passing Truffles into their care.

So tonight for a little farewell, I made Truffles pose for me. Anyway, he’ll come back once in a while for boarding so I won’t miss him too much.

Seemed like it was yesterday that Truffles came into this world. I could remember very clearly that he was the only one left from a litter of 3 born to Holly Hope. He was such a cutie back then and I knew he had quite thick bones. I could still recall how he nearly fell into wrong hands.

Let’s walk down memory to reminisce the time when this little boy was born.

I also check through the surgery area and found that the swelling has subsided. Here are 2 photos for comparison:

And he’s left to enjoy an entire night of free run:

More Updates On Camior

The Horleys had a spring cleaning the other day and I was so in awe with how squeky clean the setup looked. Totally love the minimalist look and feel. Very “japanese”! LOL!

Noobie’s Update

Would like to thank J for her photos. I am so pleased with another success in getting one of TLR’s rabbit into a very good home and I am sure all of you reading this would agree too!

Noobie has got 2 siblings. Boo is a well mannered Chihuahua and Mickey is a 2 year old shy buck. J decided to bring Noobie home as a companion to Mickey hoping that she will bring a little charm back into this lonely little bunny.

I can’t wait for the new setup. I heard it is going to be awesome.

Thanks J & J!

You know what? This is another J & J couple. Is there a trend here? J people love rabbits and take good care them? I better screen through new owners by the first letter of their names.

So far J, S, D, T, A, N, I and E seemed to be good rabbit people! Isn’t that pretty much covers from A to Z? LOL!

Camior’s Updates

After the passing of Luna, not only the Horleys were devastated. The one hit badly was Monty, the house Netherland Dwarf. He was a little depressed and quiet until Camior was introduced. Since there are also guinea pigs in their living quarters, Monty was fast to come to Camior’s aid whenever the guinea pigs get close to Camior. Here are some photo updates:

We Bid Farewell To Noobie

It is gonna be a little tough to write this post. Initially, I planned to get Noobie spayed and Skor castrated so that both of them could enjoy the remainder of their lives together happily ever after. Just before I send Noobie for her spay, I got a request for her. I believe Noobie’s new owner J has been eyeing on her for quite some time.

There is nothing that makes me happier than to have a good home for my rabbits. Come to think about it, I do regret a little for spaying her but I believe that is the best for her. She has done more than enough for me. 3 Litters in Meadow Haven is good enough for me and I do not want to let her go through the pangs of childbirth again.

While searching through photos for this post, I felt a little emotional and each and every one of these photos really means a lot to me. I can’t help but to feel very proud of Noobie for being such a great little bunny. Strong and calm all the time. She is the only rabbit that has never acted hostile towards me. Such a sweety.

This is the first time I set my eyes on her. I love the immaculate white on her!

I cannot help but to feel that the vets at Hillpark Veterinary Medical Center has done a great job spaying Noobie. She is now back to her usual self eating and pooping well. Her toilet habits came back and now she’s perfect with her litter habits.
