Thank you so much…

I do not normally get comments on my blog and getting one every now and then makes me really happy. As a reader I am also guilty of not leaving behind comments when I ought to. When you share your life on the cyberspace, one thing that remains as mystery is who actually reads what you post. I am starting to wonder and became in awe of how my easily accessible my blog is and as many people would be in fear of having their identity snatched away through the information of themselves left floating in the cyber-world, I felt that all good things in this world should be shared.

I love sharing my passion with others especially Holland Lops. It is through sharing that we ourselves get to learn and grow. But most of the time, we do not get the affirmation whether our post is a good one or not. Therefore, when someone leaves a comment behind, I felt appreciated because someone actually take the time to read what I wrote.

Although some may not agree with what I do or believe, we are still very closely knit because of something common we share and hold true to our hearts – our rabbits.

And that being said, I just want to thank all those whom have been so faithful in reading (not necessary commenting) this blog and sharing this great hobby with me. May our passion for these beautiful creatures grow as we expand our circle of friends within our local community and in this large cyber-world.

Thank you very much…

hi its me again… how often would you recommend a nail cutting session with a lop – mine seems to have its nails grow out pretty quickly.

  2. Hi Claire, welcome back. There isn’t any fixed schedule as to when to clip nails. Whenever you feel that it is necessary, you can clip their nails. Make sure you do not clip too deep and accidentally clip off the quick (blood vessel). On the average, I clip my rabbits’ nails every 2 weeks. Hope that answers your question.

    hi hi another thing…

IS it very very important that my rabbit eats the cecal? I’ve tried giving it to him but he smells and walks away as if it stinks (yah it stinks…) please tell me if a rabbit should eat the cecal… gettign worried.

  4. Dearest Claire,

You do not need to pick up cecal and feed it to your rabbit. Those that you picked up may already been rejected ones anyway. They will eat the fresh cecals from their bums on their own. Just leave it to them and that is something you do not normally intervene. LOL!!!!!

    Hi Claire,

Rabbits will naturally eat up their cecals direct from their anus, as soon as the cecals are expelled. If you find cecals lying around, your rabbit could be producing excess cecals, more than it cares to eat. You may need to relook at its diet – a diet high in protein and low in fibre may be the cause of excess cecal production. Mind sharing your rabbit’s regular diet?

hi SB.. .currently since my rabbit is only about 9 weeks old, so I feed it sole alfalfa hay and alfalfa pellets… with some stalks of timothy on alternate days .
