Thinking back, I should have taken a video of the entire mating process. Yes, another mating session has taken place in Tru-Luv Rabbitry. This time, between Skor and Noobie. And I must say, this is the fastest mating ever!
Under 1 minute. Seriously, it is the fastest recorded time ever. Well, I did not exactly hold up a stop watch and take down the time but it was really fast.
Noobie was just in Skor’s cage for a good 5 minutes and I took her out. I’ll be expecting kits on 10th August 2008. I always count on Three Little Ladies Rabbitry’s breeding calculator to get a good date. They are expected to arrive on a Sunday!
I have chosen this date for mating because I wanted Noobie to kindle on a weekend when I am around to assist in case of emergency. For those new to breeding, this is called planned breeding.

Yay! Another due date count down.:-) I can’t wait until we get some does….”one day I’ll have a nice rabbitry, full of healthy babies”, I tell myself. It’s just taking a little longer than I hoped. Anyway, I’m excited for you!

Right now I only have a jr buck from nice lines and a GC buck that we’ll pick up in two weeks…*very* nice boys but we have no does to cross. *sigh* The Lord is teaching me to be more patient that’s for sure.;-) I really enjoy hearing about your rabbitry and bunnies so the wait isn’t so bad. ‘One day’ we’ll have a good start and maybe start a blog like you are doing. I just love your blog!
I am so honored to have you here. You really made my day letting me know that my blog is enjoyable. It really gives me the assurance to venture on what I love doing. I know sometimes there may be “dry” posts. I always try my level best to write interesting entries.
In my opinion, you should get one great bucks and loads of decent does so expand your rabbit empire. Nvm, you have ample of time sourcing out great does especially where you are located it is so easy to get access to great stocks. It is just so hard for us to ship buns over this way and the exchange rate really kills.
So many things I wish to have especially to attend some shows in the States. Just hope one day I’ll get there and it would be nice to meet up with great rabbit people like yourself.
